Currently people are browsing the web more from their mobile devices, rather than from traditional computers. It means, its very important that web pages should be able to display correctly on hand-held devices such as: smartphones, iPhones, iPads, and tablets. If the contents of web site is not displayed in a way more difficult than on a computer, but is easy to use and well visible, it means that it is mobile frindly. Customers want to be on a website within a few seconds and once there, they want to see large buttons and clear, readable text. They also want to easily find contact information within just a few taps. Website should be easy to read, navigate, with minimal scrolling and with fast loading.

Why mobile friendly is so important?

With more and more (about 40%) people browsing the internet and searching using their mobiles. People expect that their experience on a mobile device will be similar to a computer screen. Visitors do not want to view a full-sized standard website on their iPhones or Android Phones. Websites that show up without a mobile equivalent can be difficult to read on a small screen. Websites with fancy features designed for computer screens can break or not render properly on mobile devices.
Having a mobile friendly website is just as important for you as it is to Google. Hence, a responsive website will get you better rankings. The development of your mobile site should be determined by the kinds of products and services your business provides. It also helps if they can purchase your products without being asked to download an application or being redirected to a non mobile friendly e-commerce site.
Google - as the search engine geared to the needs and expectations of users - introduces additional indications appear in the search results sites. Any website that will clearly display on mobile divices, will receive the "mobile friendly" label . This means that the user will be allow the sites that are not suited for viewing on smaller screens than laptops.

What's the difference?

Mobile-un-friendly sites simply look clunky and difficult to read on a small screen. Website contains mobile friendly features which make it much easier for users on mobile devices to navigate and read. Mobile friendly articles appear cleaner and easier to view than the standard website.
