What is fashionising?

Fashionising is a trend that is already present and assumes a very strong blend of fashion, advertising and branding. It's a cooperation between fashion designer or fashion brand and other company/brand from a different market segment. The result of such activities can be modern, unique packaging designs, limited or special editions of some products, signed by designer, but created for other brand. They are often unique items with a unique character, which become the object of desire grup of collectors.
This type of cooperation with fashion brand is very expensive, but it lets the company who decided on such cooperation to reach a new group of customers, to make their products more desirable and luxurious, can help to position the company in the eyes of buyers, increase profits, and effectively promote the brand.
Luxury fashion industry is a strong field, which will never be threatened by the crisis. The fashion brands that have a strong position in the market and is the subjects of customers dreams will always provide profits to another company that work with them in other market segments. Fashionising trend will be constantly developed over the upcoming years.

For many years, Coca-Cola Light brand regularly collaborates with world-famous fashion designers. They create limited edition of bottles, which are sold traditionally in stores, or as collector's exhibits.
The company often also used the potential of this project, not only for commercial purposes, but also for charities. Over the years, all the limited edition bottles enjoyed great popularity among buyers, turning a popular drink to a luxury good.
This type of cooperation is a perfect example of marketing trend called  fashionising.
